In Karate, few names command the respect of Sensei Frank Brennan.A world-class competitor in both Kata and Kumite, his competitive record is extraordinary. Such was his reputation internationally that the JKA Team trained specifically to beat him at the 1990 World Championships.
The most decorated KUGB Grand Champion in history, his record remains unmatched - the result of exceptional ability, relentless training and decades dedicated to Karate.
But those who have had the opportunity to train with Sensei Brennan know that his ability as an instructor is every bit as remarkable as his competition career.
His understanding of technique, timing, movement and application - and his ability to communicate that knowledge with extraordinary clarity - make every session a masterclass.
We are extremely fortunate to welcome Sensei Brennan back to Chelmsford for our 2027 series of Masterclasses and Gradings.
For our members, this is a fantastic opportunity to train with, learn from and grade under one of the most respected Shotokan instructors in the world.
