Welcome to the 2026 Ronald Young & Co Builders Pipe Opener Series!Join us for the 58th running of one of Tasmania's favourite keelboat regattas as we officially kick off the 2026–27 sailing season.
Hosted jointly by Derwent Sailing Squadron and Kettering Yacht Club, the Pipe Opener combines competitive racing with a fantastic social atmosphere, making it the perfect way to reunite with friends, welcome new crews to the fleet, and get back on the water after winter.
What to expect:
• Three days of exciting racing
• The return of the popular Teams Event
• Saturday night festivities at Kettering Yacht Club
• Great competition, great company and a fantastic start to the season
