The Australian Girls Choir has developed a reputation for inspirational performances to audiences all around the world, through national and international tours, television appearances, and performances at thousands of public events. The AGC was founded in 1984 by Judith Curphey OAM and was made up of 150 young girls in Melbourne; today it has blossomed to an organisation with 6,500 girls in training in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. A specially selected group of 56 choristers from all over Australia will sing and dance their way across Tasmania this September.
