All-Star Sports Academy’s Pro Instructional Series is back by popular demand, offering an opportunity for young athletes to learn from former MLB pros. This 3-hour session is designed to enhance the skills and performance of players aged 9U – 12U.Learn from the Pros
During this session, participants will benefit from the expertise of All-Star’s seasoned coaching staff and a roster of former MLB professionals. This year’s event will feature a combination of the following pros: Ben Davis, Jesse Levis, Milt Thompson, Mickey Morandini, Ricky Bottalico, Gene Schall, and Tommy Greene. These pros bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, ready to impart invaluable insights and techniques.
Skill Rotations
The Pro Instructional Series focuses on the core areas of baseball: hitting, fielding, catching, and pitching. Players will rotate through these stations, receiving personalized instruction and encouragement at each step. This format ensures that each participant gets ample hands-on experience and direct feedback, fostering significant skill development in a supportive environment.
Q&A Session
One of the highlights of the event is the interactive Q&A session with the pros. This is a unique chance for young athletes and parents to ask questions, gain insights into the professional world of baseball, and learn about the dedication and perseverance required to excel in the sport. The Q&A session provides an inspiring end to a day filled with learning and growth.
What To Bring
To get the most out of this session, players should come prepared with the proper equipment: helmet, glove, bat, batting gloves, catchers gear if your athlete is a catcher, etc. We encourage comfortable athletic/practice apparel and shoes, noting that no spikes will be permitted on our turf. Each player will also receive an event t-shirt with their registration.
