2026 OCCC Nursing Summit

The Nursing Summit is designed to help students make the transition from nursing student to professional nurse by connecting them directly with local healthcare employers and providing practical career preparation.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in live interviews with potential employers, meet recruiters from all of the major area hospitals and healthcare systems, and network with healthcare professionals and vendors.

Throughout the Summit, students can receive live résumé feedback to strengthen their applications and better prepare for the hiring process. Vendors and healthcare organizations will also be on-site with resources, giveaways, and swag.

And because networking is always better with food, lunch will be provided free of charge for students.

The Nursing Summit gives students the opportunity to prepare, connect, interview, and potentially take the next step toward their first nursing position, all in one event.
