The Joseph H. Neal Health Collaborative proudly presents the 2026 Heart of the People Awards Brunch, an inspiring celebration honoring individuals and organizations whose leadership, compassion, and service are improving the health and well-being of communities across South Carolina.
Inspired by the life and legacy of Representative Joseph H. Neal, this signature event recognizes community champions who lead with courage, advocate for equity, and remain deeply committed to serving people who are too often overlooked.
The Heart of the People Awards will recognize distinguished leaders in healthcare, public service, advocacy, education, philanthropy, and community development. Each honoree represents the values that defined Representative Neal’s service: justice, dignity, courage, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the people.
