2026 Deadline Club Awards Dinner

The Deadline Club Awards recognize the best journalism produced by journalists and media organizations based in the greater New York area. Winners compete for a coveted "Rube" statuette (see photo below), designed by legendary cartoonist Rube Goldberg. The statuette, designed in 1968, was Rube's idea of a dead line—shown in three dimensions.

The evening will be highlighted by our guest speakers: , former editor-in-chief of Time Inc. and longtime media executive, and , editorial director of A.I. initiatives at The New York Times.

Those winners will be recognized on Thursday, May 14 at the historic and exclusive Harvard Club of New York City, 35 West 44th Street. (Business/cocktail attire.)
