Winners Announced at Awards Dinner
The Deadline Club Awards recognize the best journalism produced by journalists and media organizations based in New York. Winners compete for a coveted "Rube" statuette (see photo below), designed by legendary cartoonist Rube Goldberg. The statuette, designed in 1968, was Rube's idea of a dead line—shown in three dimensions.
Those winners will be recognized on Thursday, May 14 at the historic and exclusive Harvard Club of New York City, 35 West 44th Street.

The Deadline Club is the New York City chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. You must be an SPJ member to join the Deadline Club, which currently has no membership fee.
