IGNITE: 2026 Lassen County Professional Learning Day
Join us for a day of inspiration, connection, and practical strategies to spark growth and innovation in education! On Friday, September 25, 2026, educators will gather at Lassen Community College from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM for a full day of professional learning — breakfast, lunch, and learning all included.
Choose from a variety of hands-on breakout sessions covering topics such as:
- Student engagement strategies
- Science notebooking
- Supporting multilingual learners
- Trauma-informed practices and de-escalation
- Behavior management and school climate
- Supports for students with autism & ADHD
- AI tools
- Math instruction, and more!
Keynote Speaker: Adam Welcome
A former teacher, principal, and district-level leader, Adam was named Principal of the Year for his region in California and recognized as a "20 to Watch" by the National School Board Association. He is the co-founder of Kids Deserve It, the author of four books, and a keynote speaker with more than 400 appearances nationwide, known for his high-energy, relationship-first approach to education.
