2026 Ballston Spa Holiday Parade & Tree LightingFriday, December 6 • Downtown Ballston Spa
The holiday season comes alive in the Village of Ballston Spa with the 2026 Ballston Spa Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting, hosted by the Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association. This cherished annual tradition transforms downtown Ballston Spa into a winter wonderland of lights, music, and community spirit.
The parade steps off at 6:30 PM, traveling south along Milton Avenue from the north side of the village to West High Street. Spectators can enjoy a dazzling display of floats, decorated fire trucks, and community groups bringing the joy of the season to life. The celebration continues in Wiswall Park, where Santa will arrive on an Eagle-Matt Lee Fire Company truck to light the village holiday tree.
In partnership with the Toys for Tots campaign, volunteers from the Ballston Spa Community Emergency Corps, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department, and the U.S. Marine Corps will collect new, unwrapped toys along the parade route and during the tree lighting—helping make the holidays brighter for local children in need.
This year’s event coincides with First Friday in Ballston Spa, adding even more festive fun. Local shops and businesses will be open late with special activities, treats like hot cocoa and chowder, and free parking throughout the evening.
