Proceeds will benefit the churchSynopsis: 1912 tells the story of Titanic survivor Edith Rosenbaum and the world of 1912 as it sat on the precipice of two cataclysmic world wars. The story begins in the immediate aftermath of the Titanic sinking. We then flash forward to 1974 when a young reporter at Women's Wear Daily, Vera Thompson decides to write a story about Edith (who was once a reporter there herself) for the 60th anniversary of the sinking. This is a story of regret, guilt, honor and the unlikely friendship of two women, generations apart who learn something important from each other.
