Join us for GIS Day Field Trip 2026 on Monday, November 9, 2026, at the Air Mobility Command Museum in Dover, Delaware! This interactive educational event is designed for 5th-grade classes and gives students an opportunity to discover how Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and mapping technologies connect the world around us.Throughout GIS Day, students will learn how GIS connects information to geography and helps people better understand places, patterns, and relationships. These technologies support decision-making every day in government, business, education, natural resources, and many other fields.
GIS Day makes mapping and geographic technology fun, engaging, and relatable for students while introducing them to the many ways GIS can help understand and solve real-world problems.
