Celebrate Chicago’s creative community at the 16th Annual West Town Art Walk, a free, neighborhood-wide celebration featuring local artists, galleries, small businesses, music, food and special promotions throughout West Town.
Established in 2011, the West Town Art Walk invites visitors to explore artwork displayed in neighborhood galleries, shops, restaurants and creative spaces. Guests can stroll at their own pace, discover local artists and enjoy free guided walking tours and pedicab rides throughout the weekend.
Event Highlights:
- Local Art: Explore exhibitions and installations by Chicago artists at participating galleries and businesses throughout West Town.
- Free Walking Tours: Join a Brick of Chicago architecture tour on Friday, October 2, at 5 p.m., or West Town public art and mural tours on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, at 1 p.m.
- Free Pedicab Rides: Available Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Neighborhood Deals: Pick up an Art Walk button at a participating location to unlock special offers at local businesses.
- Nourishing Hope Food Drive: Bring a donation to the West Town Chamber of Commerce during Art Walk weekend for a chance to win a Blick Art Materials gift basket.
When: Friday, October 2–Sunday, October 4, 2026. Hours vary by participating location.
Where: Throughout Chicago’s West Town neighborhood. Visitors can begin at any participating location.
Cost: Free to attend. RSVPs are required for the free walking tours, and capacity is limited.
