About this Event

Have you had a baby recently, or are you pregnant and using care in Wigan Borough? This could be antenatal or postnatal care as well as giving birth at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary.

👣 We are inviting parents and parents-to-be to come with us on walk around the maternity and neonatal units. You will be with the local Maternity & Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) team.

Your views will help us understand what it feels like to use these services.

What you’ll get from coming:

  • A chance to share your views and be listened to
  • See parts of the maternity and neonatal units you may not normally see
  • Help staff understand what matters most to families
  • Be part of improving care for other parents and babies
  • Lunch and help with travel or childcare costs

🧡 We really want to hear from you if you:

  • Are Black, Asian or from a mixed ethnic background
  • Are LGBTQ+
  • Are neurodiverse
  • Have a disability
  • Or don’t always feel listened to
