There is something different about experiencing sound outdoors.Join me for an evening Restorative Sound Bath under the open Arizona sky, during one of the most beautiful times of year to be outside in Gilbert.
Late October typically brings warm days followed by cooler, comfortable evenings. We’ll begin as the last of the daylight fades, allowing the experience to unfold from twilight into the quiet of night.
The moon will be just a few days past full and still beautifully illuminated, rising later in the evening and creating a peaceful backdrop as we settle into sound.
Why Outdoors?
The environment becomes part of the experience.
Time in nature and exposure to natural soundscapes may support stress recovery and help the nervous system shift out of the constant stimulation of everyday life.
Rather than trying to eliminate every sound around us, we allow the outdoors to become part of the soundscape: the evening air, birds settling for the night, leaves moving, distant sounds, the spaciousness of the open sky, and the instruments themselves.
You’ll be invited to get comfortable, settle your body, slow your breathing, and simply receive as singing bowls, gong, chimes, and other carefully selected sounds move through the space around you.
There is nothing you need to accomplish.
Just an evening outside, a darkening desert sky, restorative sound, and space to slow down.
What’s Provided
A yoga mat and light blanket will be provided for each guest.
Or a twin size airbed
Or an inflatable lounger
You choose your seating style!
You are welcome to bring a pillow, additional blanket, bolster, eye mask, or any other comfort that will help you relax fully. Because desert temperatures can cool quickly after sunset, comfortable layers are encouraged.
