Na své první velké společné výstavě v Evropě představují Tanya Lukin Linklater a Duane Linklater nejnovější umělecká díla, v nichž reflektují prožitky a zkušenosti příslušníků Prvních národů Severní Ameriky. Zabývají se otázkami spjatými se životem původního obyvatelstva v minulosti i dnes: komu patří dědictví po předcích, jak se půda a obchod staly nástrojem kolonizace a jaká je daň za vymazávání historie. Prostřednictvím soch, instalací a maleb, v nichž se těla a předměty protínají se živelnými silami, přemýšlejí o možnostech odškodnění a uzdravení i o budování nových světů.𓅥
Zveme vás na vernisáž výstavy Crested/mâcistan: Tanya Lukin Linklater and Duane Linklater v Galerii Rudolfinum, která se koná ve středu 30. září 2026 od 19:00 ve Dvoraně Rudolfina. Dveře budou otevřeny v 18:50.
Výstavu uvedou kurátorky výstavy Julia Bailey, ředitelka Galerie Rudolfinum, a Hana Janečková za přítomnosti vystavujících umělců Tanyi Lukin Linklater a Duanea Linklatera.
Vstup na vernisáž je volný.

In their first major joint exhibition in Europe, Tanya Lukin Linklater and Duane Linklater bring together artworks reflecting on their experience as First Nations people from North America. They explore questions shaping both current and historical Indigenous life, including the ownership of ancestral belongings, the politics of land and trade, and the toll of erased histories. In their sculptures, installations and paintings, elemental forces, bodies and objects intersect to imagine the possibilities of reparation, healing and the building of new worlds.

Join us for the opening of the exhibition Crested/mâcistan: Tanya Lukin Linklater and Duane Linklater at Galerie Rudolfinum on Wednesday, September 30 at 7 pm in the Rudolfinum Ceremony Hall. Doors will open at 6:50 pm.
The exhibition will be introduced by the curators, Julia Bailey, director of Galerie Rudolfinum, and Hana Janečková, in the presence of the exhibiting artists, Tanya Lukin Linklater and Duane Linklater.
Admission to the opening is free.
