On 24th June 2026, two powerful earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 struck north-central Venezuela, causing widespread destruction and loss of life. Thousands of families have been affected, with rescue efforts still ongoing and hundreds of aftershocks continuing to impact the region.
