Intangible Cultural Heritage X Cattle Depot Ghost Walk X Urban Legends Gathering
Every October, a recurring question comes our way: “Why spend your time hosting such unconventional, eerie ghost events?”
Our response has always been simple: “To tell stories through art, and to bring people together through stories.”
Urban legends, created and passed down by word of mouth, often originate from misunderstandings or unusual experiences. More than just eerie folklore, they preserve the unique living memory of our neighborhoods and gradually evolve into part of the local community history. Combining cultural experiences, guided tours, and storytelling, we invite you to join us for a unique exploration of To Kwa Wan this spooky season and discover an alternative side of the neighbourhood.

Artist|Holok Chen
Once upon a time, there were a group of alien people wandering around across the universe, hidden between the cracks….
HoLoK’s coming of age story began from Choi Yuen Village and Wooferten while he was a student at CUHK. Their discourse surrounds the ideas of precarious life, displacement and dysphoria through speculative fabulation and void punk.
HoLoK was the former impact strategist of Eaton HK where they discovered their inner alien. The gender-neutral persona takes inspirations from sci-fi
and circus performers, expressing a profound sense of loss and sadness.
