As the Beginning of Winter approaches and all things return to storage, this is a season to joyfully welcome the harvest and count our blessings. On November 7, 2026, the Shamian Church will once again present its Baroque concert series. Centered around the theme "All Things Gathered in Storage, A Harvest of Grace," this concert weaves together the profound polyphonic counterpoint of J.S. Bach with the agile string lines of Corelli and Handel—resembling the tranquil soul resting in storage after a year of cultivation—along with magnificent and brilliant selected movements from Handel's Messiah. Through choir and pipe organ, our deepest gratitude is transformed into soaring praise to our Savior. As the Beginning of Winter draws near, we sincerely invite you to join us at Shamian Church to count the abundant gifts of life through beautiful Baroque music and bathe together in the Lord's grace.
