“You are whole. You contain everything.”
She draws a map of the water along the shore, waiting for a letter from the traveller who has gone far away—a letter that might tell her where the sea comes to an end.
She watches a single drop of water fall from Moon Lake. From then on, her shadow leaves her, falling instead upon the wanderer.
The water takes on colour; the soul gathers memories.
She and he, she and he—
meeting and parting.
If, in the vastness of it all, nothing can ultimately be held, can one do anything but carry the weight of longing and step once more into another cycle of Fluida?
From the drifting dust reflected in the mirror to the ceaseless currents flowing through the river of the heart, the choreography continues the ancient imagery of flowers reflected in a mirror and the moon reflected in water—images in which Fluida becomes both the shifting state of emotion and the journey of the soul.
Through encounters between one person and another, we turn our gaze back upon ourselves and ask whether, after dancing alone through the currents of human life, the heart might find the still lake again.
