A lovely autumn day out at beautiful Normanby Hall
Come and spend a few relaxed, creative hours with me painting an atmospheric autumn pumpkin patch — complete with pumpkins, a rustic picket fence and all those lovely cosy autumn colours.
And the best bit? You really don’t need to be able to draw!
If you can draw a square, a rectangle and a few basic shapes, you can create this painting. I’ll guide you through the process step by step, showing you how to build up the painting loosely and simply to create an atmospheric finished piece.
This is a relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop designed to be enjoyed rather than perfected. You can chat, have a laugh, switch off for a few hours and enjoy being creative.

Although this painting would look right at home in the run-up to Halloween, it’s not a Halloween painting — it’s simply a lovely celebration of autumn.
Think warm pumpkins, a cooler autumnal background, a rustic picket fence and that cosy feeling that comes with the changing seasons.

This is a brand-new venue for BuzemanArt — Normanby Hall Country Park, set within a beautiful historic estate near Scunthorpe.
After the workshop, you’re welcome to stay and enjoy the park, take a walk through the beautiful grounds and explore the walled garden — all included with your workshop ticket.
You may even spot the deer overlooking the estate.
Coffee, tea and food are also available from the on-site café, so why not make a proper day of it?
