Join Rabbi Robert Haas of Congregation Mickve Israel for a fascinating journey through Jewish history, from the 41 Jewish refugees who arrived in Savannah in 1733 and founded the South’s oldest Jewish congregation to the swashbuckling adventures of Jewish pirates, including Moses Cohen Henriques and Jean Lafitte.
A popular lecturer, comedian, and interfaith leader, Rabbi Haas has served Congregation Mickve Israel since 2012.
Free and open to the public. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., with a light lunch served.
