نبذة عن الفرقة:
تأسست فرقة الطنبورة بمدينة بورسعيد في ٢٣ ديسمبر ١٩٨٨، على يد الفنان والباحث زكريا إبراهيم، بهدف الحفاظ على التراث الموسيقي والغنائي الشعبي لمدن القناة.
ومنذ تأسيسها، تعمل الفرقة على إحياء أغاني السمسمية والبمبوطية وأغاني البحر والصيادين والمقاومة الشعبية.
وعلى مدار عقود، أصبحت الطنبورة واحدة من أبرز التجارب الفنية المصرية في صون التراث الشعبي وتقديمه للأجيال الجديدة والجمهور حول العالم.

About El Tanbura:
Founded in Port Said on 23 December 1988 by artist and researcher Zakaria Ibrahim, El Tanbura was established to preserve and revive the traditional music and songs of Egypt’s Suez Canal cities.
For decades, the group has celebrated the sounds of the Simsimiya, Bamboutiya songs, fishermen’s songs, and popular resistance music.
Today, El Tanbura stands as one of Egypt’s most distinctive folk music experiences, carrying the spirit and heritage of Port Said to audiences in Egypt and around the world.
