About this Event
Édouard Vocoret is a seventh-generation vigneron from one of Chablis’ well-established winegrowing families. After studying winemaking in France and gaining experience in New Zealand, he returned to Burgundy to establish his own domaine in 2012, producing his first vintage in 2013.
Working with around five hectares of family vineyards, Édouard Vocoret has quickly earned recognition for precise, terroir-driven Chardonnay. His philosophy centres on expressing the individuality of each vineyard parcel, bottling sites separately rather than blending them together, even at the village level. Hand-harvested fruit is fermented in stainless steel, with subsequent ageing in older barrels to develop texture and complexity while preserving Chablis’ characteristic minerality, freshness and saline character. The domaine has become one of the exciting modern names in Chablis and therefore we are very excited to welcome Édouard to Sydney this November. Armorica seemed to be the perfect location for an all-French affair and the ideal setting for a Saturday lunch. We'd love for you to join us.
