REGULAR CLASS: Headmovement in PartnerworkCOURSE DESCRIPTION
- a regular class for leads & follows of all levels who want to bring their headmovement to the next level
- We’ll be learning both solo technique to make headmovement safe, comfortable, and smooth as well as how to apply it to partnerwork
- FOR LEADERS: understand how your execution of tilts and contractions in your own body translate into leading them, improve your skill of following the follower and working with their bodies not against them, make the dance more flowy and connected
- FOR FOLLOWS: learn how to unlock your movement, differentiate the leading you are receiving into your lower body (steps and weight shifts) from the leading you are receiving into your upper body (head movement)
- FOR BOTH: understanding the delay between the steps and the head, building a safe and supportive connection, collaborating on the moves instead of “executing” them
- also suitable for bachata sensual and bachazouk dancers
