Something special is happening when local artists come together not simply to show finished work, but to explore, experiment, listen, and create alongside one another.Last night’s Zen & Creativity gathering brought together visual art, music, performance, conversation, and a remarkable range of creative voices. We shared the work that emerged from our first assignment, heard the stories behind it, and discovered once again how differently each of us can respond to the very same invitation.
That is part of what this program is about: creating a space where artists can take risks, encounter their work in new ways, and be genuinely curious about what others are seeing.
There was a lot of laughter, some wonderful surprises, and the kind of attentive conversation that happens when people are willing to bring something of themselves into the room.
We’re grateful to everyone who is helping build this growing community of creativity here in Ottawa—and we’re only getting started! Join us for our next gathering WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4 @ 6:30P
