Discover Körner’s Folly dressed in its holiday finest! This year’s theme, Bejeweled Christmas, draws inspiration from the rich ornament of the Victorian era: the vibrant colors of emeralds, rubies, and sapphires, the luster of pearls, the sparkle of diamonds, and the shimmer of precious metals.Local volunteer decorators bring their creativity to garlands, wreaths, trees, and special seasonal displays, adding another layer of embellishment to the house’s fantastic interiors. Drawing on decorative influences from around the world, each of the 22 rooms offer a fresh way to appreciate the color, artistry, and unexpected details of Körner’s Folly. Come explore, look closely, and find a little inspiration for your own holiday celebrations.
Join us in celebrating a festive season complete with candy canes and a visit from Old St. Nick in the Reception Room (a great photo opportunity, included with tour admission), and a live holiday musical performance by the Heart of the Triad Coral Society beginning at 10:30 am in Cupid Park Theatre.
Körner’s Folly will offer self-guided tours of the house for the holiday season Tuesday – Thursday from 10 am – 4 pm, Friday and Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm, and Sunday from 12 – 5 pm, with the last entry at 4 pm. Self-guided tours are fun for all ages and take approximately 1 hour. Tickets are available on our website or can purchased on-site inside the Visitors Center at Körner’s Folly (401 S. Main Street, Kernersville).
