🌲 6th Annual Yule Crafting Workshop & Winter Solstice Celebration 🌲

There is a kind of magic that only belongs to this time of year.
The scent of oranges and evergreens.Warm cider held between cold hands.Candles flickering against the darkness.Stories shared around tables.Hands busy creating.Voices raised together in song.Strangers becoming friends.
And beneath it all, the ancient reminder that even on the darkest nights…
the light returns.
For the 6th year, Mystic Mana invites you to gather with us for one of my favourite traditions of the entire year—a full day devoted to Yule, creativity, community and the returning Sun.
This isn’t simply a day of making Yule crafts.
This is intentional creation.
It is remembering why our ancestors brought evergreens into their homes, lit fires through the longest nights and celebrated the promise that the Sun would rise again.
It is taking ordinary things—branches, herbs, pine cones, oranges, ribbon and flame—and turning them into something meaningful with your own two hands.
🌲✨ THE MAGIC WE WILL CREATE
Throughout our day together, you’ll make a collection of Yule treasures to carry the spirit of the season into your home:
🌿 Mini Yule Besoms — sweep away stagnant energy and make room for what is coming.
🌲 Mini Yule Wreaths — honour the eternal turning of the Wheel and the cycles of life, death and rebirth.
🔥 Yule Logs — an ancient symbol of warmth, protection, abundance and the returning light.
🔮 Yule Witch Balls — fill your own beautiful witch ball with herbs, botanicals and intentions for protection and blessing.
🌰 Pine Cone Wishes — write your wishes, dreams and hopes for the coming year and tuck them into your pine cone, creating a beautiful little piece of Yule magic to carry your wishes forward.
🍊 Dried Orange Tree Ornaments — little suns for your tree, honouring abundance, warmth and the return of the light.
✨ And there will be a few more magical surprises waiting for you!
You won’t simply leave carrying a bag of crafts.
You’ll leave carrying pieces of the day—things you created with intention that can become part of your own Yule traditions for years to come.

They brought so much joy and warmth to our celebration before, and I am absolutely delighted to welcome them back again.
Imagine sitting around the crafting tables surrounded by evergreens and community, creating your Yule treasures with warm cider nearby as familiar carols drift through the room.
It is pure Yule joy, and I cannot wait to experience it with you again. 🎶🌲
👧 YULE MAGIC FOR OUR LITTLES
Magic belongs to children, too.
Our children’s crafting area gives our youngest makers a place to create, explore and experience some of the wonder of Yule alongside their families.
Because some of the most beautiful traditions are the ones we begin together.
🕯️ CRAFTING IS CEREMONY
There is something incredibly grounding about sitting around a table and making something with your hands.
For a little while, the outside world becomes quieter.
You choose the herbs.You tie the ribbon.You weave the branches.You place your intention.
And suddenly you’re not just making something beautiful…
you’re making something meaningful.
🍎🌲 AND OF COURSE, WE FEAST!
Yule has always been about gathering.
Throughout the day, we’ll share warm spiced apple cider, a hearty chili and hotdog lunch, seasonal treats, laughter, conversation and community.
You’ll also be able to wander through our Yule Pop-Up Market, discover beautiful treasures from local artisans and perhaps find something magical to tuck beneath someone’s tree—or your own. 🎁
We’ll also have raffles and draws throughout the day!

🎁 A LITTLE MAGIC FOR GIVING BACK
Yule reminds us that when we have warmth to share, we share it.
Bring a non-perishable food item or donation for the food bank and you’ll be invited to create your own Simmer Sachet filled with beautiful seasonal ingredients to take home.
Place it in a pot of water, let it gently simmer and allow the scents of Yule to fill your home. 🍊🌲✨
🕯️🐝 OUR HAND-ROLLED BEESWAX CANDLES ARE BACK!
Once again, our beautiful hand-rolled beeswax candles will be available for purchase for $8.50 per set.
Each set includes 3 hand-rolled beeswax candles, perfect for placing into the Yule Log you create during the workshop and lighting as part of your Winter Solstice traditions. 🔥🌲
Their warm golden glow feels especially magical at Yule—a beautiful way to bring the symbolism of fire, light and the returning Sun into your celebration.

Six years.
Six years of gathering around tables. Six years of creating with our hands. Six years of laughter, stories, learning, friendship and magic.
And every year, I am reminded that the most beautiful part isn’t actually what we make.
It’s that we made it together.
So come spend a winter day with us.
Come alone and meet your people. Bring your best friend. Bring your partner. Bring your children. Bring your mom.
Come make something beautiful. Come learn something old. Come make a wish for the year ahead. Come sing along when a familiar carol fills the room. Come begin a new tradition.
And come sit among community as we honour the darkness and prepare to welcome the light once again.
