About this Event
Join us for conversations on what helps and what harms young people in the justice system.
The third annual Youth Justice Forum brings together people whose decisions shape young lives. That includes justice professionals, community agencies and system leaders. This year we’re taking a hard look at the return of “tough on crime” rhetoric. What does it mean for Black and racialized youth in Toronto? And what can we do together to support them?
What to expect: Keynotes that challenge how we think about youth justice. Breakout sessions built for real conversation.
Who should attend: Youth workers, educators, lawyers, law enforcement, child welfare staff, community organizations and young people who want to be part of the conversation.
Speakers to be announced. Free to attend. Breakfast and lunch provided. Space is limited.
Law Society of Ontario EDI professionalism hours are pending.
