Youth Fest is all about giving things a go!Made for young people, with young people at the heart of it, Youth Fest is a free event for rangatahi aged 12 to 24.
There’ll be heaps happening throughout the day, with activities, workshops and experiences covering everything from sport and creativity to culture, wellbeing and useful skills for everyday life.
Get a fresh barber cut or have your nails done. Step into the ring for a boxing workshop, slow things down with yoga, learn how to make a proper coffee with barista training or jump into a whole new world with VR!
You’ll also be able to explore creative activities like acting, improv, writing, zine making, sticker making, music and art therapy. Or check out workshops and activities around mindfulness, relationships, budgeting, goal setting and more.
And there’s a pretty good reason to try as much as you can!
Grab your Youth Fest passport when you arrive and collect stamps as you make your way around. The more you try, the more freebies you can unlock.
It’s a chance to discover something you’re into, learn a new skill, meet new people or connect with local groups and services that can help you now or down the track.
