This four-week series meets on Tuesdays, November 10, 17, 24 and December 1, from 5:00-6:25 pm. Registration includes all four classes.Draw, experiment, and see where your ideas take you! These small-group classes invite tweens and teens to try new techniques, take on playful creative challenges, and discover different ways to make art.
We’ll draw from life and reference images, break tricky subjects into manageable steps, and explore how lines, shapes, colours, textures, and shadows bring an artwork to life. Guided demonstrations help students get started, with room to make choices and add their own personality along the way.
Each week builds on the last, with time to practise, revisit discoveries, and try something a little different. We’ll also use sketchbooks to collect ideas, test materials, and work things out. Not every drawing needs to become a finished artwork!
The focus is on building skills and confidence while enjoying the process, getting curious, and making art alongside other young artists.
No previous art experience is required.
