About this Event
Got a song that reminds you of someone you care about? Or one that perfectly explains your feelings?
Join us for Week 6 of The Art of Choosing Yourself where we’re turning up the volume and exploring how music connects to love, emotions, and self-expression.
In this interactive session, we’ll listen to music, share favorite tracks, do karaoke, and talk about how songs shape the way we think about relationships and love. From love songs to heartbreak anthems, we’ll unpack the messages behind the lyrics and what they teach us about connection.
What we’ll get into:
🎶 How music influences the way we see love
🎤 Expressing emotions through karaoke and shared playlists
💬 Talking about healthy and unhealthy relationship messages in songs
❤️ Using music as a tool for self-expression and confidence
Whether you love R and B, pop, Afrobeats, hip hop, or throwbacks, this is your space to vibe, reflect, and have fun.
TTC fare is provided.
