About this Event
"Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." Matthew 6:10
Last time we gathered we spent our time noticing the places around us where the kingdom is already breaking through across the North Shore. Much of what we noticed was things that could easily be overlooked - seemingly small, not usually celebrated, but definitely signs of God at work around us!
Jesus taught his disciples to notice the signs of the kingdom coming around them, but he also called them to respond to it, work alongside it, and ask for more of it!
So in our next gathering time we want to turn from noticing to asking. What would it look like for us to actually pray, together, for the kingdom to come on the North Shore? Not as a formality before the real agenda starts, but as the agenda itself. What are we asking God for, across our churches and our region, that only he can do?
As always come ready to share where you are seeing God at work, bring the burdens and hopes you're carrying from your own church and neighborhood, and come ready to imagine what mobilizing prayer across the North Shore can look like so that the whole Church of the North Shore can pray “Your Kingdom Come on the North Shore as in Heaven.”
