Your First Steps to Investing
If you ever wanted to invest in shares but didn’t know where to start, this jargon-free, hands-on workshop is for you. It will help you understand your options and give you the knowledge and tools to take your first steps into investing with greater confidence.
You'll learn how to:
- Understand some of the simplest investment options for beginners
- Create your own checklist for choosing an index fund or ETF
- Set sensible guardrails to manage risk
- Make investing part of your regular financial routine
- Work out how much you might invest towards your goals
By the end of the workshop, you'll have a clearer understanding of your options, greater confidence in making your own decisions, and a practical framework for taking your first steps.
This is a hands-on session. Bring your questions, and we'll aim to answer most of them.
