About this Event
Do you know what CMP, SCMP, and the IABC awards actually mean? More importantly, do you know if the work you're already doing counts toward one of them?
A lot of communications professionals do award-worthy, certification-worthy work every single day and have no idea this path even exists for them. This event is here to change that.
Join IABC Calgary on October 15 for an evening built around the profession's biggest markers of recognition: CMP, SCMP, Gold Quill, Silver Leaf, and Best of the Best. You'll hear directly from members who've done it, studied for the exams, submitted for the awards, won the awards, talking about what it took, what surprised them, and what they'd do differently. Then break into small groups by credential to get your specific questions answered and pick up a guide to getting started.
Whether you're years into your career or just starting to wonder what's next, this is a chance to find out what's already within your reach.
Open to IABC members and all communications professionals across Calgary.
Doors open at 5:15 p.m.
Programming begins at 5:45 p.m.
