Your Attention Please, directed by Sara Robin, is a new documentary that explores the impacts of the attention economy, social media, and Big Tech on childhood, mental health, and human connection. As the real-world consequences of social media come into focus, a resilient coalition of parents, Gen Z reformers, and whistleblowers are swinging back. Can we rebuild the tools of our time to serve humanity, or will we remain captive to the scroll?
The Mississippi Film Society, in partnership with the Mississippi Humanities Council, is pleased to invite you to this free preview screening on Tuesday night, October 13th, at 6:30 pm at Millsaps College (room AC137). Tickets to this screening are limited to four per order. Space is limited, so we kindly ask that you only reserve seats if you plan to attend.
