October at Youngblood Vineyard means crisp fall evenings, changing vines, and the perfect setting for a book that takes us all the way back to ancient Greek mythology with a very different version of a story you probably think you know.
And because it’s October, we’re leaning ALL the way into this one. 🐍🏛️🍷 Costumes and themed attire are absolutely encouraged! Come as Medusa, a Greek goddess, a mythological character or simply come as yourself. Dressing up is completely optional, but we have a feeling some of you are going to have a lot of fun with this one!

We are offering three meeting dates in October, and space is limited due to high demand.
Please register for only ONE meeting each month so we can accommodate as many readers as possible.
What to Expect
🍷 Wine & Mingling – Arrive early to grab your favorite glass of estate-grown wine and catch up with fellow book lovers before the discussion begins.
📖 Engaging Discussion – Myth versus reality, power, women’s voices, identity, beauty, betrayal, revenge, transformation, who gets labeled a “monster,” and what changes when an old story is told from a new perspective.
🐍 Medusa-Inspired Experience – We have a TON to work with for this theme! Expect some fun Greek mythology and Medusa-inspired touches throughout the winery.
👗 Costumes Encouraged! – It’s October, so why not? Medusa, Greek gods and goddesses, mythology-inspired looks, snakes, gold, laurel crowns so we can have some fun with this one. Costumes are encouraged but absolutely not required.
🍸 Themed Cocktail – We’ll create a special October Book Club cocktail inspired by I, Medusa, available for purchase alongside our wine menu.
🍂 Fall Vineyard Ambiance – Depending on October weather, we’ll gather on our covered porch overlooking the vineyard or move inside the winery for a cozy fall evening.
🍕 Food Available for Purchase
Our kitchen opens at 5:00 PM.
Come early to enjoy made-from-scratch pizza, farmhouse salads, charcuterie, and more before the discussion begins.
