About this Event
This three-week workshop will introduce young writers to the fundamental elements of creative writing, from character and plot development to the craft of polishing their very first draft. For grades 4-8. Complimentary notebook for journaling. Registration is $30.
Week 1
Learn how to turn ideas into writing that captures interesting characters and universally resonated themes.
Week 2
Dive into the specifics of pacing, plot planning, and learn what makes a well-plotted story!
Week 3
Take your story from good to great and learn how to make the details shine with activities tailored for descriptive writing.
