What does a hopeful, socially just and environmentally bright future look like? Who is building it and how can you support the visions that might just become our reality very soon?
On October 2, 2026, we find out together. The Social Impact Award incubation is officially coming to an end with a final celebration and hold-your-breath moment... the Award Ceremony.
Over the past three months, our 11 Finalists have worked intensively on their social and environmental ventures. They’ve developed their ideas further, challenged their assumptions, worked with mentors and experts, and learned from each other along the way. Now, it’s time to bring their journey to the stage and announce this year’s winners.
Our jury will select three Jury Award winners, while one additional venture will receive the Community Award, decided through public voting. Each of the four winning ventures will receive €2,500 in pre-seed funding and a ticket to the international SIA Summit in Podgorica, Montenegro.
At the heart of the evening are the young social entrepreneurs behind these projects. Their ideas address some of the social and environmental challenges we’re facing today. From different perspectives, with different approaches, and with one thing in common: they are working towards a more just and sustainable future.
An evening for Germany’s social impact community
The Award Ceremony is more than the final step of the incubation program. It is an opportunity to bring together the people who are building, supporting, and strengthening social innovation in Germany.
Before the ceremony, you can meet this year’s Finalists at the Venture Fair, hear their stories, discover what they are working on, and connect with the teams in person.
And this year, there is another reason to celebrate: 2026 marks five years of Social Impact Award in Germany. Since launching in Germany, we have supported 75+ of young social entrepreneurs and grown a community around them together with the mentors, partners, jury members, experts, alumni, and supporters who make this work possible. We will hear a few words from our long-standing partners at SAP and Postcode Lotterie on why our current times call for youth participation more than ever, and how young people can be supported in reclaiming their future.

20:30–22:00 | Networking, Snacks & Drinks:
After the ceremony, we celebrate together. Stay for drinks, snacks, conversations, and new connections with the Finalists, alumni, partners, mentors, and members of the wider social impact community.
