Calling all parents! Need something healthy and engaging for your kids to do after school? Sign your young explorer up to come kick it with 37 North Expeditions for afternoons of simple fun and connection during our four week spring session of Young Explorers After School program. We'll be hiking, learning about outdoor advocacy, birding and discovering wellness in a new way. We are excited to explore Coler together for all that it has to offer. Join us after school for some big time fun in the outdoors!37 North focuses on connections, community, and experiences. Modern and authentic rec/edu activities for young explorers fully immerse participants in the entire outdoor experience. Program outlines and communication pieces are incorporated for your child to continue the engagement after the sessions are over!
Schedule:
Time: 3:30-5:00
Dates: 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16
Class meets one time per week for 4 weeks (Every Monday)
Coler MTB Park (The Grove Pavilion)
Explorations will include:
Hiking - Get your boots on the ground of beautiful trails while learning about map reading and navigation
Birding - Discover the birding basics and spot NWA birds in their natural space
Outdoor Advocacy - Actively participate in citizen science and become a responsible steward of the outdoors
Wellness - Connect with yourself in a new way through mindful practices to incorporate in your life
