About this Event
Young Artist Workshops are free art activities for children ages 3+ (must be accompanied by an adult). Participants can come to a YAW anytime between 3 and 7 pm. Workshops at MOAH are every first Thursday of the month. Art activities take about 10-30 minutes to make; seating and supplies are first-come, first-serve. Participants create artwork from start to finish, with all the supplies and guidance provided by MOAH staff. Each YAW is unique and introduces children to a variety of art techniques, materials, and processes.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany their child for the entire duration of the craft activity.

Join us as we make a craft inspired by an iconic figure commonly associated with Dia de los Muertos: little La Catrina dolls! Come and learn the history of the original artwork and her place during Dia de los Muertos, while making your own!

David Alabo's artworks function as windows into imagined worlds. Join us for a free art workshop inspired by artist David Alabo where you will be making your own animated world!
