📚 This autumn, join us for a series of free author events celebrating some of the most exciting voices in young adult and teen fiction. From fantasy and contemporary fiction to thrilling adventures and unforgettable characters, each event offers the chance to hear directly from acclaimed authors about their books, creative inspirations and publishing journeys. Following each library interview, attendees are invited to continue the conversation at Hull Waterstones Café over a complimentary drink or piece of cake.

Organised, and hosted by local author Philippa Leathley in partnership with Hull Libraries, these informal and engaging events offer readers a unique opportunity to hear directly from some of the most exciting voices in young adult literature.
Each session begins at the library with a 30-minute interview and conversation (the last session on 14th November will start with a 45-minute interview and conversation) in which each author will discuss their books, inspirations, writing process, and publishing journey. Whether you're a passionate reader, an aspiring writer, or simply curious about publishing, you'll gain fascinating insights into the craft of storytelling.
After the interview, we'll continue the conversation at Hull Waterstones Café for a relaxed and informal meet-up. This is your chance to:
