We're super excited to announce the 8th edition of #YouCanAlsoBeA Sound Engineer in Aarhus 🔊🎛️✨A workshop created to share knowledge, exchange experiences and explore live sound engineering while creating more opportunities for women and gender minority involvement in the field.

📅 October 8 - 9, at 10:00 - 15:00, October 10, at 12.30 - 20.00
🎛️ THE WORKSHOP INCLUDES
➽ Introduction to live sound
➽ Insights into digital mixers, acoustics, monitor mixing, FOH, and microphone placement
➽ Talks about sound perception at concerts and the psychology of working with musicians
➽ Hands-on experience (exercises, soundchecks, concert)
➽ Networking and meeting other people interested in sound
➽ Exchange of experiences and knowledge
➽ And, most importantly a safe, open & friendly space
The project primarily focuses on young women og non-binary people aged 16-35 from all over Denmark who are interested in live sound engineering and music technology, regardless of genre. But everyone is welcome to join!
NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
You don’t need to play an instrument or have deep musical knowledge. If you’re curious, eager to learn something new, and love music, you’re welcome to join and explore this field with us.
