About this Event
You Break It Mosaic Workshop will focus on using shards as well as mirrors, stained glass, and found objects. Do Antonio Gaudi, Nikki St Phalle or Isaiah Zagar inspire you?
Experienced or totally new to being creative, you will be inspired and guided to create a unique piece of art. Feel free to explore and use other materials if you choose to create a mirror frame or playfully repurpose an old or sentimental piece, teapot or broken vessel into a unique piece of memorabilia.
Learn the about color, design, application and grouting of mosaics for interior of exterior applications.
Students should bring Brown bag lunch and drink for Saturday and zip bag for sorting shards. Bring to swap and share shiny or smooth pottery shards, small objects to incorporate into the design and your favorite broken dish! Apron and gloves, protective lenses.
