Time to hang up your trowel, weeder and secateurs – not so quickly! Mary Shearman Reid, Master Gardener and owner of the Green Thumb Garden Centre joins the Kanata-March Horticultural Society's October meeting to share her knowledge and provide timely seasonal tips. There’s still lots that you can do in your gardens – you can plant and transplant, prune and add compost. Mary will also go over how to overwinter summer bulbs and of course, plant new bulbs outside for early Spring enjoyment, prepare your garden tools for winter…and much more.This in-person meeting will be held at the John G. Mlacak Centre, 2500 Campeau Drive, Hall B. The meeting runs from 7:30 pm – 9 pm (doors open at 7:15 pm). Non-members are always welcome for a visitor’s fee of $5.
