Yotam Ben Horin is currently touring Europe with his first book, Haifa City Hardcore. In his book, Yotam talks about growing up between Haifa and the US, his experiences in Israel’s hardcore punk scene during the 1990s, and how DIY culture, life on the road, and the sense of community within the scene shaped him. It’s a collection of personal stories about life in the punk community and how music and the scene can shape a person and their worldview.
Yotam is best known as the longtime frontman of the punk band Useless ID. He’s been touring internationally for over three decades and is deeply rooted in the global punk scene. With Haifa City Hardcore, he brings the stories behind the music to the page and the stage.
Yotam will be joined by his good friend and fellow touring musician Phil Holstein, who is also a singer-songwriter.
Join us for a nice evening featuring a reading, personal anecdotes and of course songs!
