Yorkshire and Humber is home to some of the brightest minds in digital health, pioneering innovative solutions rolled out across the NHS.
Health Innovation Yorkshire and Humber and Aire Innovate are joining forces to host a Hackathon that unites innovative thinkers to solve the biggest healthcare challenges facing our region.
The hackathon will be held at Aire Innovate’s offices in Leeds on Tuesday 2nd December. Clinicians, digital transformation leads and academic subject matter experts are invited to come together to work as a community on challenges that matter most to the NHS in Yorkshire & Humber. The day aims to shape solutions and build working prototypes to address some of the key digital challenges in the region.
The team would like to hear from healthcare stakeholders about their main digital challenges so that potential solutions to these can be developed on the day. As an example, the team has identified the need to transform multi-professional assessment forms such as Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments as today the process is cumbersome and fragmented involving multiple agencies. We are on the lookout for two other areas of care to be tackled on the day.
There are two ways we’d invite you to get involved:
- Nominate an operational area that needs to be addressed.
- Put yourself forward to join in the hack day.
Let’s showcase the region’s strengths and work together to deliver tangible outcomes that can support innovation and transformation across the Yorkshire and Humber region and the UK.
Attendance is limited to 30 delegates. We kindly ask that you let us know if you’re unable to attend, so your place can be offered to another delegate.
