Introducing SEASON OF THE RAVEN: A BLACK CHRISTMAS — an atmospheric Victorian-inspired evening of darkness, folklore and festive mystery.
Taking place at three beautiful Yorkshire venues — The Crown Hotel, Harrogate; Bagden Hall, Huddersfield; and The Hospitium, York — each event has been uniquely tailored to the history, character and ghostly tales of its surroundings.
🕯️ Join the Curator Rob Shersby and Paul Forster, as they retell chilling ghost stories by candlelight! Hear tales of haunted places, restless spirits, forgotten folklore and strange happenings from times gone by — bringing Yorkshire’s most curious and unsettling stories back to life.
🔮 Later in the evening, we’ll be joined by renowned spiritual medium Brenda Diskin, who will share her personal journey into mediumship and invite us to explore the world beyond the veil. Through psychometry and spirit communication, Brenda will attempt to connect with the departed…

🕯️ Doors & stalls open from 4pm, with the evening’s events beginning at 5pm. With mince pies and warming mulled punch awaiting, take your time to wander through our atmospheric marketplace, filled with the perfect blend of alternative, gothic and festive creations — from curious handmade treasures to darkly enchanting gifts and seasonal delights.
