About this Event
Doors 7
At this point these guys are an indie rock institution. We have watched them grow for a scrappy, power-pop trio, to now being a 5 piece band playing songs that have as much heart as they do heat. Yoni Gordon continues to be a purveyor of the sing-a-long chorus and powerful guitar riffs. Fez Aswat and Scott Eisenberg are still one of the most solid rhythm sections around. The band is rounded out with the chiming guitar of Amer Koudis (no one else approaches guitar quite like him), and the band boasts not one but two excellent keyboard players - Wes Shippee and Dan Papson. These guys are the rare band that has been around forever, but keep getting better with every release.
Savoir Faire is an Iranian American guitarist and songwriter fusing jazz crooner elements, Persian undercurrents, and alternative rock influences. Her 2025 debut album, “Hopeless Nostalic,” is a Lynchian rumination on the past and present that earned nominations from “Jazz Artist of the Year” (Boston Music Awards, 2025) and “Songwriter of the Year” (New England Music Awards, 2025), amongst others. Her most recent release, an EP titled “This Too Shall Pass,” was released on October 8th.
With an intercontinental band, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Lee Crosby blends essences of American folk-blues and North Indian raga into meditative songs of impermanence, compassion and joy. Crosby’s music is a pleasing mix of improvised and composed material, performed on traditional and modern instruments. Through his recordings and performances, Crosby hopes to inspire peace, openness and respect – for tradition, for culture, for each other and for one’s self.
