About this Event

Do you 🧡 yoga? I do!

Hi, I’m Danni Mares. After spending nearly a decade living in Costa Rica, where I taught yoga outdoors by the ocean in the shade of the palm trees, I fell deeply in love with the healing power of practicing yoga outside in nature. There’s something incredibly grounding about moving your body beneath the open sky, feeling the earth beneath you, and breathing alongside the rhythm of the water.

I’m honored to share that experience with you here at the lakefront. 🌿

These Hatha yoga classes are designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and create balance within the body, mind, and spirit. Classes move at a gentle to moderate pace, blending mindful movement, breath work, and moments of stillness.

This class is perfect for:
✨ Beginners
✨ Anyone returning to their practice
✨ Those seeking a slower, more grounding experience
✨ Those navigating minor injuries or seeking a gentler, more supportive practice

🌿 Class Details:
Classes are held on select Saturday mornings throughout the summer and are weather-dependent. Sessions will only be held when temperatures are 65°F or warmer with no rain in the forecast.

Please arrive around 7:55 AM to settle in before class begins at 8:00 AM.

We gather on the lawn between the Adler Planetarium and 12th Street Beach. We will set up in the shade of the trees on warmer mornings and in the sun on cooler days. Please dress comfortably and plan accordingly with layers or sun protection.

• Optional: towel or blanket for under your mat

Adults and older teens (15+) with a curiosity or love for yoga, mindfulness, and community.
