The Veterans Chamber of Commerce presents the Veteran Business Bootcamp, a two-day training experience for veterans, service members, military spouses, and veteran-owned businesses.
This event is sponsored by Industrial Fence and presented in partnership with the Veteran Business Outreach Center and the Illinois Commission on Equity & Inclusion.
The bootcamp will be led by Keith S. Murphy, Veteran Business Outreach Center Director for Illinois and Minnesota.
Over the course of two days, participants will learn how to evaluate a business idea, better understand their market, identify customers and industry opportunities, select the correct legal structure, explore financing options, and develop a stronger business plan. A special session will also be held following Saturday’s training.
The Illinois Commission on Equity & Inclusion will review the State of Illinois Veteran Business Program, including recent updates and information relevant to veteran-owned businesses pursuing state opportunities.
